Buckle up.  We’ve got Sean Penn, sodomite characters and country music’s white privilege.  

If it sounds like a SNL “Weekend Update” skit, that’s because life imitates bad comedy.  

Let’s start with Sean Penn.  That bastion of truth, justice and the American way—Huffpost—reports that Sean Penn is in Ukraine documenting the Russian invasion. Ukraine’s office of the President said, “The director specially came to Kiev to record all the events that are currently happening in Ukraine and to tell the world the truth about Russia’s invasion of our country.”  

Well, Mr. President, Sean Penn and truth couldn’t pick each other out in a police lineup if they were the only ones in the room.  Add the fact that VICE News is producing the documentary…you’ll set to have more spin than a Category Five hurricane.  

Wouldn’t it be nice if a Christian filmmaker had the cajones to go into a war zone, make a documentary and build relationships with national leaders?  Why is it that the unregenerate have more guts than those who know they’re going to Heaven?  

Ah never mind.  Where’s the remote?  

Moving on…in case you hadn’t noticed, there’s a lot of LGBTQ characters in our entertainment these days.  According to NBC News for the first time EVAH lesbians outnumber male sodomite characters on broadcast TV.  40% to be exact.  

Now if you were homeschooled and can do math, you might be wondering how 40% is a majority in what only appears to be a binary situation according to the headline.  You can be forgiven though, because you forgot that there are about two dozen other genders, ya know, other than male or female, (for those who have better imaginations than Jim Henson).

Intersections abound in intersectionality.  The victory here is that women who behave like men in regards to their sexuality have finally smashed the glass ceiling and outnumber the men who think like women.  No comment regarding what transgenders think about this injustice.  

SPEAKING of injustice have you ever considered how country music fans are a bunch of racists?  You have naaaaht?  Well, let’s get you caught up to speed (chortle).

Apparently in February of 2021 a country music star was heard using the N word, which is a travesty because he’s not a rapper.  Morgan Wallen is his name and his fans, rather than cancel him and burn him in effigy decided to support him with massive sales because presumably, they like his music.  CNN can only interpret this as proof that country music is a hotbed of KKK, sheet wearing haters even though Wallen did his required mea culpa, including raising $500k for black orgs and meeting with black leaders for re-education.  

Of course, it’s never enough for the media elite.  They could only be happy if Wallen’s career was destroyed and he ended up living in a van down by the river.  Now we must consider the deeper implications of what is wrong with the entire genre of country music, according to CNN, and of course, they settled on lack of diversity.  

No word on when CNN will investigate the same issue in hip hop and rap.
