Book Burnings

Surprise, surprise — some employees at Penguin Random House Canada are triggered because Penguin Random House wants to (gasp) make money selling a new book by the hated Dr. Jordan Peterson.  he publisher is trying to engage in all manner of intersectional gymnastics in order to keep everyone happy, including (but not limited to) donating the profits to an LGBTQ charity of the offended's choosing.

Bear in mind, we are talking about a grand total of four employees. For those who are in the State Legislature in New York, we'll use the digit — "4". In other words, the company is being held hostage by a super-minority of the offended. Makes you wonder what they would do if it was only one (1).

Ayn Rand wrote about the elevation of the lowest common denominator in society as a distinctly communist threat. The disenchanted ignorant of Penguin Random House Canada are willing to hold the entire Peterson fanbase captive because of their crocodile tears and "concerns."

If the publishers had any sense at all they would fire them. Progressives used to frown on censorship and book burning. Now they just want to censor and burn the books before they are printed.

Welcome to our brave new world. Such a brave new world needs a braver new media platform to fight the stupidity.

Congratulations! You've found it. Welcome to LOOR.
