You may or may not know but there is this whole thing in some segments of Christianity about the Book of Psalms.

Some say that since it is the only hymn book in the Bible, that it is the hymn book we should sing in Church. OK, so a lot of the people in Loor’s theological circles say this.  But it’s not a majority opinion in evangelicalism at the moment.

Imagine Elevation Church singing Psalm 2, acapella?   Wellllllll, probably not.

But what if….

What if the Book of Psalms were used to inspire a series of short films after the style of Amazing Stories or The Twilight Zone?

(It might be enough to inspire you to warm up your singing voice.  Steven Furtick notwithstanding.)

Cody Hallford is the writer and director of this exciting new project, The Psalter.  He’s an experienced filmmaker who has done some solid work for Pureflix (among other things).  He’s excited about bringing the Psalms to life in creative settings.

Maybe this series will get you to think about The Psalms more deeply—consider some applications that you haven’t thought about before. It will certainly be an exciting journey.

If nothing else, it’s a good reason to SUBSCRIBE today.
